I am the new Coventry Poet Laureate, a rapper, and a mentor. My passion lies in cultivating and offering opportunities for the youth in Coventry, helping them to be the best that they can be. As a father, there is always this underlying, gnawing thought about the future of the next generation. There is definitely a lot of uncertainty in the world right now, especially with young people not knowing what the future holds for them. I think addressing Climate Change through creative mediums is a powerful way to make the message more digestible and vital in raising awareness and pushing for positive action. As a provocation, I am eager to see the artistic responses that will emerge from our collective input. I am excited about this project, as it will hopefully offer young people both clarity and hope in navigating the complexities of combating and alleviating eco-anxiety.
